North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival

The nationally renowned North Carolina Comedy Festival returns to Carrboro celebrating its 10th Anniversary by adding two new weeks of sketch comedy performances and film screenings. The festival, sponsored by DSI Comedy Theater in Carr Mill Mall, will be held at six venues in Carrboro and Chapel Hill. Throughout the last decade, the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival has made Carrboro a national comedy destination. It’s the largest comedy festival in the South. The festival boasts over 500 performers from throughout the country and Canada. The festival includes Sketch Comedy performances Feb 4-6; Stand-up Comedy Feb 11-14; and the Improv block will run Feb 16-21. The festival will close with Film and Video Feb 25-27.
