Come celebrate the 24th annual North Carolina Watermelon Festival in Historic Murfreesboro, July 29 – August 1 and enjoy a complimentary slice of the State’s finest melons! This year’s theme is "Where Hearts Meet." This event is enjoyed by over 35,000 and is one of the largest festivals northeast NC. Schedule includes 8 bands with a street dance each night, amusement rides, a large parade, crafts, food vendors, and fireworks.

I HAVE THE SAME QUESION AS CAROL!!!!! HOW ABOUT IF YOU GIVE US ALL THE INFO SO WE CAN DECIDE WHETHER OR NOT TO MAKE THE TRIP. WITHOUT THE INFO, WE PROBABLY WIL GO SOME PLACE ELSE.

I have looked at every website on the watermelon festival and nowhere can I find a schedule of events for anything but the 5k race. What time does the festival start each day?? What vendors will be there??? We don't know what time we should show up each day???
