Hendersonville is the official home of the North Carolina Apple Festival. The festival features a street fair on Historic Main Street including: entertainment, arts & crafts, apple products, childrens & youth activities, special exhibits, food and the King Apple Parade on Labor Day. Check our website for specific hours and schedule of events. Street Fair - Fri-Sun 10:00AM-8:00PM from 6th Ave-Caswell St; mini-festival on Mon. 10:00AM-5:00PM from 2nd Ave-Caswell St., King Apple Parade on Labor Day @ 2:30PM

Be sure to visit the Western North Carolina Air Museum in Hendersonville over Labor Day week-end. They're holding a big Apple Festival Open House Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday. Always free admission & free parking. Bring your camera & get your picture taken with the lovely old airplanes! The Air Museum is just off Brooklyn Avenue, near the Hendersonville Airport & Blue Ridge Community College. www.wncAirMuseum.com
