Join us for the new Trail to Tryon Holiday Half on our updated date of December 6. This year's event combines a great running experience with the festive beauty of New Bern during the holiday season. Choose your distance – half marathon, 10K, or 5K – and enjoy this perfectly timed end-of-year run or walk. The majority of the routes travel from Tryon Palace and around the charming historic district, with fascinating homes beautifully decorated for the holidays.
Make a weekend of it! Stay in town to enjoy New Bern's holiday parade, along with its eclectic food and music scenes. Then cap off the celebration at the 41st Annual Coastal Christmas Flotilla at Union Point Park at 5:30 p.m., where decorated boats will light up the Trent and Neuse Rivers in a spectacular holiday show.
