For more than 50 years, Stokes Stomp has celebrated the art, music, heritage and community spirit of Stokes County. The free Stokes County Arts Council event returns with a new downtown format along Main Street and the Arts Block in historic Danbury.
Festivalgoers can enjoy live music and dance performances from Straight Shot, the Salem Swing Band, CC Dance Company and Miss Joyce Dance groups on the Main Stage. Plus, artisan vendors, food trucks, kids’ activities, demonstrations and entertainment are in store. A second stage at the Historic Courthouse will spotlight youth performers, open mic sessions and emerging local artists. The Stokes County Historical Society hosts an open house, exhibits and special programming. Whether you're discovering local talent, shopping unique handcrafted goods or making family memories, the Stokes Stomp is a can't-miss celebration of the arts and community.
