Enjoy an all-day celebration of Hillsborough's Scottish heritage with a playful twist, featuring live music from Big Celtic Fun, BogTurtle and more, bagpipes, traditional dancing and interactive activities for all ages.
Calling all Outlander fans: visit Hillsborough's own Craigh na Dun and get whisked away to the outlandish side of history. Meet the Regulators, dance with the fairies or join in for a wee dram of locally grown bourbon at the tasting table (included with your ticket).
Gates open at 9:30 a.m. with the opening ceremonies starting at 10 a.m. Under the speaker tent, don't miss Gaelic storytelling featuring the Highlanders' immigration to North Carolina and "The History Behind the Story," uncovering the connections between fiction and real life Hillsborough.
Throughout the day, stop by the vendor marketplace for handmade art, leather goods and Celtic-inspired metalworks or spot specialty weaving, athletics demonstrations and character reenactments.
