Enjoy an evening of great music at The Appalachian Theatre in Boone with The Old Crow Medicine Show. Catch this night's show, part of their Spring tour, where the group performs in a more stripped-down configuration, emphasizing the songs themselves—built to carry their weight without spectacle, production tricks, or distance from the audience. It’s a return to closeness: songs played up close, in rooms where every word and harmony matters.

On this tour, the band will perform their first two label releases—O.C.M.S. and Big Iron World—in their entirety. The setlists will trace the foundation of Old Crow’s catalog. The Appalachian Theater was a stop in the early days of The Old Crow Medicine Show, and this night will be a welcome return for old fans and an exciting venue for new ones.

The Appalachian Theatre of the High Country is an historic landmark and a hub for the performing arts in Boone. Built in 1938, the theatre operated for almost 70 years until it closed its doors in 2007. Major and minor Hollywood movies were shown there, as well as traveling performance acts and music groups throughout the decades. The Appalachian Theatre was completely renovated inside and out, designed to closely reproduce the original 1938 exterior appearance, before its Grand Re-opening in late 2019.
