This family-friendly event focuses on early bedtimes and kid-friendly fun! Get ready to shine at Marion’s Golden New Year, a free, family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration in downtown Marion! The fun begins at 6:30 p.m. with live music from Tanya & The Roadrunnerz Band, DJ music between sets, dancing, food vendors, and fun giveaways throughout the evening.
Dance the night away with live music from Tanya & The Roadrunnerz and high-energy DJ sets throughout the evening. There's live DJ music between the music sets.
Stop by the "Glow Up" Station:, a neon-themed place for glow-in-the-dark stickers, glowsticks and glowing accessories to light up the night.
Enjoy a festive carriage ride, extended hours at downtown restaurants and businesses, and live DJ music between live music sets. Explore local food vendors offering warm cocoa, treats and more.
Then at 8 p.m., gather for the main event: the Golden Nugget Drop! Families can count down together while enjoying an apple juice toast and snow on Main Street for a little extra New Year’s magic. Come dressed for a golden night and celebrate the start of 2027 with family, friends, music and plenty of fun.
