Lights over Onslow is a signature annual holiday event in Onslow County, designed to officially kick off the festive season for the area. It's a family-friendly celebration centered around a traditional Christmas Tree lighting and a modern, spectacular drone light show.
The main attraction is a choreographed Drone Light Show. Hundreds of drones take to the night sky, their color-changing lights synchronized to popular holiday music. The show is typically a 10-minute spectacle that culminates in the grand finale: the ceremonial lighting of the official Onslow County Christmas Tree.
Following the drone show, the focus shifts to the ground for the traditional lighting of the Christmas Tree, transforming Onslow Pines Park into a twinkling, festive holiday scene.
