The Liberty Showcase welcomes back Jimmy Fortune! Renowned for his hits as part of the legendary The Statler Brothers, Fortune will also bring new music to fans at The Liberty.
Jimmy toured, sang and performed with the legendary Statler Brothers for 21 years. He wrote the group’s second No. 1 hit, “Elizabeth” and followed that with two more No. 1 hits: “My Only Love” and “Too Much On My Heart.". Fortune also wrote the top 10 hit “Forever,” and co-wrote the top 10 hit “More Than a Name on the Wall.” Jimmy and The Statler Brothers were inducted into the GMA (Gospel Music Association) Hall of Fame in 2007, and inducted into the CMA (Country Music Association) Hall of Fame in 2008. After The Statler Brothers retired, Jimmy seized the opportunity to launch a solo career to share new music with his fans.
Established in 1949 as The Curtis Movie Theater, this small historic venue now offers the best shows in the industry featuring nationally known musicians in an up-close and intimate setting. A great place to bring the entire family with live shows almost every weekend.
