Experience the world without leaving North Carolina at the 48th Annual International Folk Festival. This long-standing tradition transforms downtown Fayetteville into a vibrant global village, celebrating the diverse cultural threads that make the community unique.
The festivities lead with the iconic Parade of Nations, a colorful procession featuring more than 30 cultural groups showcasing their heritage through traditional dress, music, and dance. The celebration continues at the International Cafe, where visitors can sample authentic cuisines from across the globe, and the Art Market, which features unique handmade goods from local and regional artisans.
With multiple stages of live cultural performances, a dedicated kids area and interactive exhibits, the festival offers an immersive experience for all ages. It is more than just an event, it is a weekend of unity and discovery.
Plan to stay the weekend and explore the historic sites, local boutiques and natural beauty that Greater Fayetteville has to offer. Visit the official website for a full schedule of performances and a list of participating international food vendors.
