Halloweenfest

Count Dracula may not live full time in Transylvania County, but he clears his schedule each year for Heart of Brevard’s Halloweenfest in downtown Brevard.

This one-day, family-friendly festival brings free Halloween fun to the heart of downtown with artisan and community vendors, food vendors, bounce houses, a hula-hoop dance party, a costume contest, a pet costume contest and trick-or-treating at participating businesses.

Festivalgoers can also explore Brevard’s dining scene, with options ranging from wood-fired pizza, tacos, barbecue, burgers and sandwiches to international cuisine, handcrafted desserts, kettle corn, caramel apples, roasted nuts and other seasonal treats.

Locally owned breweries, wine bars and cafes are also popular stops during the festival. Located within Brevard’s Social District, they offer craft beer, wine, coffee and seasonal drinks, giving visitors a chance to sip, stroll and support independent local businesses along the way.
