2026 marks the 250th anniversary of both the Halifax Resolves and the Declaration of Independence, so mark your calendars to come to downtown Halifax for this year's celebration!
There will be food trucks on site for lunch and dinner, Two Doors Down will have a lunch option available on the Wilcox House lawn from 12-3 p.m, Halifax Fire & Rescue will be selling BBQ for dinner, and The Trophy Room will be serving up drinks all day, plus cornhole and giant Jenga for the evening!
This year, we will also have three fun photo opportunities! Local artist Riley Mills will be installing a mural on site for the weekend, and Triangle Twirl will be bringing two photobooth options for guests to enjoy starting at 4:30 p.m.
At 5 p.m. the MC & DJ for the evening, radio host of Friday Beach Blast with Andy Lucy, kicks things off with the first hour of music, followed by the headliner the Band Of Oz at 6 p.m. Sky Elements will be putting on a custom Patriotic Drone Show at dark honoring the Halifax Resolves!
