Groovin' on Grovemont - featuring Kellin Watson and the Feelgood

Kellin Watson and the Feelgood brings together a powerhouse group of seasoned Western North Carolina musicians led by Asheville singer-songwriter Kellin Watson, whose soulful voice and heartfelt songwriting have captivated audiences for more than two decades. Blending elements of soul, folk, blues, Americana, and roots rock, Kellin’s music is both deeply personal and warmly inviting — equally at home in an intimate listening room or on a festival stage. Her songs have appeared on national television, earned songwriting recognition, and carried her to performances across the United States and Canada.

For this special Groovin’ on Grovemont performance, Kellin is joined by an all-star lineup featuring Tom Leiner on guitar, Rob Geisler on bass, George Scott on keys, and Vic Stafford on drums. Together, Kellin Watson & the Feelgood deliver a rich, groove-driven sound filled with soulful vocals, dynamic musicianship, and the kind of genuine musical chemistry that keeps audiences smiling long after the final song.

The summer concert series is held at Grovemont Park, adjacent to the Swannanoa Library. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, and come enjoy this free family-friendly evening of great music and food! A large selection of tasty and freshly prepared foods will be available for concert goers to enjoy. This year’s concerts will feature specially-curated Groovin’ culinary creations in partnership and in support of selected Swannanoa Valley restaurants.

Groovin’ is a free-admission outdoor concert series benefiting two Swannanoa nonprofit organizations: The Friends of the Swannanoa Library and the Swannanoa Community Council.
