Ghent Front Porch Music Fest

The Ghent Front Porch Music Festival is a new event in the historic Ghent neighborhood of New Bern Performers include Big Jim and Kathleen Kohler, Bag-End, Tuppence, Mac and Mary McRoy, Ed Harris, Doctor Paul Deering, Dan Jam Phillips, Joe Baes, and George Oliver, offering a wide variety of acoustic music. Voices, guitars, fiddles, banjos and mandolins will fill the air with music. The event includes four front porch stages on Spencer, Park, and Rhem Avenues. The festival will open at 12 noon and continue until 5 p.m. Bring a chair!
