Celebrate Northwest Stokes County’s rural heritage at this free, family-friendly festival in the Francisco Community. Hosted by Our Communities of Northwest Stokes County, the 11th annual gathering features local artisans, farmers and demonstrators, live country music, and a tractor show, plus tractor parades at 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Watch the Tobacco Tying Contest and “Gathering the Golden Leaf” documentary around tobacco farming. Children can ride the tractor train and enjoy face painting, corn-hole, and games. Browse handmade goods and local produce, then stop by Baker’s Corner for homemade baked goods and sandwiches. Raffle tickets are $5. Food and merchandise are available for purchase.
