Now in its 27th season, the Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival’s acclaimed Signature Series continues with a stirring program featuring the music of Felix Mendelssohn, Clara Wieck Schumann, and Robert Schumann. Experience the lyrical beauty of Mendelssohn’s Song without Words for cello and piano alongside the poignant Andante from Clara Schumann’s Piano Trio in G Minor.
The program also features Robert Schumann’s Piano Trio No. 2 in F Major, a buoyant and charming work filled with excitement and warmth, followed by Mendelssohn’s Piano Trio No. 2 in C Minor, an intensely dramatic masterpiece that moves from brooding darkness to hopeful beauty and concludes with an ecstatic hymn. Pianist Ieva Jokubaviciute, violinist Ara Gregorian, and cellist Zvi Plesser bring these deeply personal and expressive works to life in an unforgettable evening of world-class chamber music.
