Four Seasons Chamber: Brahms for Six

Now in its twenty-seventh season, the Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival’s acclaimed Signature Series opens its 2026–2027 season with an unforgettable evening of music by Johannes Brahms. Experience two of the composer’s most celebrated works for strings, the String Sextet No. 1 in B-flat Major and String Sextet No. 2 in G Major, performed by an exceptional ensemble of internationally renowned musicians.

Known for their rich, expressive sound, Brahms’s sextets move from bold and dramatic to intimate and elegant, with touches of the Hungarian musical style that inspired the composer. Festival founder and artistic director Ara Gregorian (viola) is joined by violinists Xiao-Dong Wang and Carmit Zori, violist Paul Neubauer, and cellists Clive Greensmith and Peter Stumpf for a captivating start to another season of world-class chamber music in Greenville.
