Presented as part of ECU’s Voyages of Discovery Series, this lecture features Dr. Brian Hare sharing insights from his groundbreaking research on evolution, cooperation and social behavior. He comes to Greenville for one night only with his lecture on "Survival of the Friendliest," followed by an audience Q&A and book-signing.

Hare is a professor of evolutionary anthropology, psychology, and neuroscience at Duke University and a leading expert in animal cognition and human behavior. A Harvard Ph.D. graduate, he has received international recognition for his research and is the co-author of several bestselling books, including "The Genius of Dogs." His work has also been featured in major documentary series, including Netflix’s "Inside the Mind of Dogs."

Now in its 19th season, the Voyages Series brings influential scholars and leaders to campus to engage the community in timely, thought-provoking conversations that reflect the spirit of exploration at the heart of the arts and sciences.
