Step into the sights, sounds and energy of Scotland at the Central Carolina Highland Games in Granville County. This lively, family-friendly festival celebrates Celtic heritage with traditional Highland athletic competitions, bagpipe and drum performances, Scottish music and dance and cultural demonstrations that bring Scotland to life.
On the field, athletes will showcase their strength and skill in events like the caber toss and stone throw, proudly wearing kilts — the iconic Scottish garment whose colorful tartans represent family heritage. The sounds of bagpipes and drums fill the air as visitors explore artisan crafts and enjoy a variety of Scottish foods, from hearty favorites to sweet treats like ice cream. New this year will be a sword fight exhibition!
No ticket sales. Suggested donation of $20 per car to park. All proceeds are donated to the Central Children’s Home of North Carolina, making this a celebration of both culture and community.
