Carrboro Music Festival

The annual Carrboro Music Festival kicks off on Saturday with a show at the Cat's Cradle (300 E. Main St.) and Open Mic at Carrboro Town Commons (301 W. Main St.) from 2-4 p.m. An all-new Music Market will occur at the ArtsCenter from 4-7 p.m., which allows you to meet bands and grab event merchandise. The Carrboro Music Festival main event is Sunday, beginning at 1 p.m. with dozens of music genres in venues indoor and outdoors all over town all day. Enjoy rock, blues, gospel, hip-hop, country, jazz and many more.

Carrboro is partnering with Chapel Hill Transit to run a free shuttle for festival-goers on Sunday noon- 9 p.m. from the Jones Ferry Road Park & Ride Lot located just south of the intersection of Old Fayetteville Road.
