This annual festival features diverse improv teams and headliners who entertain sold-out audiences with a range of improv formats including short-form, longform, narrative/unscripted theater, musical, and more.
This year's headliners are Baby Wants Candy, Dan O'Connor, Logan Square Improv, and Greg Tavares.
Shows take place among several venues in downtown Asheville, including the Diana Wortham Center for the Performing Arts, NC Stage Company and The Orange Peel.
The Asheville Improv Festival is a proud Double Dip Production. This yearly festival is produced by local improvisers right here in Appalachia. This small team wears many hats to make this festival possible for the improv-obsessed around the country.
Community is at the heart of everything. Between local sponsors, staff and improvisers, Asheville’s eclectic energy and talent is in the spotlight.
