Celebrate art, music, heritage, and community at the 45th Annual Hiddenite Celebration of the Arts! This free, family-friendly street festival brings Hiddenite Church Road to life with fine arts and handmade crafts, skilled artisan demonstrations, live music, dance and storytelling on four performance stages, children’s activities, and a variety of festival food.
Visitors can also explore the historic James Paul Lucas Mansion, home of the Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center and Alexander County Visitor Center. The mansion’s museum, art galleries, and permanent collections will be open throughout the day, with museum tours available.
Held each year on the fourth Saturday in September, the Hiddenite Celebration of the Arts is a longtime Alexander County tradition that showcases the creativity, culture, and heritage of the region.
