The International Black Theatre Festival (IBTF) rolls out the purple carpet every other summer, transforming Winston-Salem into a mega-performing arts center with more than 120 performances in a number of the city’s venues.
Artists, audiences and industry leaders from across the globe unite for an electrifying week of mainstage productions, engaging programs and cultural exchange.
Mainstage Production Tickets will be announced and available to purchase starting June 1, 2026, on the IBTF's website or by calling the IBTF Box Office.
IBTF 2026 Experiences will include: Opening Night Gala, cultural heritage tours, international vendor market, Film Festival, Storytelling Festival, staged readings, New Work Readers' Theatre, Midnight Poetry Jam, Youth Showcase, and community concert.
