Marion's annual Livermush Festival honors the legacy of livermush, an Appalachian delicacy.
Marion's annual Livermush Festival honors the legacy of livermush, an Appalachian delicacy. and the always highly anticipated Pig Calling and Pig Squealing contests. Enjoy a live band, where dancing on the street is encouraged. There are free children’s activities, more than 80 craft vendors, and incredibly fun hog callin’ and pig squealin’ contests. Contest winners earn $25 and a free festival t-shirt!
Savory food trucks also compete for thhe Livermush Master trophy! You will be able to vote for the best livermush dish from these food trucks. Plus, there will be plenty of sweets, fresh squeezed lemonade and other treats available to purchase.
