Enjoy this event as a night out with friends, family or make it a date night! Participating shops and restaurants in downtown Salisbury will each be assigned a specific wine. Ticket holders will travel from place to place to sample a countless number of different wines.
All attendees must check in and have their IDs verified at the Visitors Center. Doors will open at 4 p.m. (Please enter through the front door of the building.) Businesses will not begin serving wine until 5 p.m.
Attendees will be able to purchase tickets until 8:30 p.m. if not sold out. Check-in will close at p.m. Those who arrive with only 30 minutes to participate in the event will likely not be able to sample any wine. Ticket holders can still pick up their swag from the Visitors Center until 9:30 p.m.
A complimentary trolley service will be provided throughout the evening in the downtown district for easy accessibility to all locations. The trolley will run from 5 p.m. until just after 9:30 p.m.
Again this year will be “Snack Stops.” Check your tasting pass for participating restaurants, shops and boutiques serving a variety of free samples for you to enjoy throughout the night. Tasting passes will not be punched for food samples. This is a free addition to enhance your experience at Wine About Winter.
Wine About Winter tickets include:
- One (1) souvenir wine cup — Social District approved
- One (1) Wine About Winter souvenir wine bag
- A walking map of participating locations
- Wristband for access
- Free trolley shuttle service to make travel easy
Age Restriction: All ticket holders must be 21 years old or above. State-issued photo ID showing date of birth is required for each ticket holder to pick up their tickets (regardless of age). Each ticket holder must be present when checking in or purchasing tickets.
Visitors can earn two complimentary tickets to the 13th Annual Wine About Winter wine stroll by booking their overnight stay in Rowan County.
This is a rain-or-shine event and no refunds.
