On March 7 join us for a re-dedication of the 1952 historic highway marker honoring Babe Ruth’s first home run as a paid professional baseball player in front of the Department of Transportation on Gillespie Street. On March 8 attend a Vintage Base Ball game at Arnette Park. where baseball is played by the rules and customs of the 19th century. This game will follow the 1864 rules as adopted by the National Association of Baseball Players.
