The Ava Gardner Festival opens the festivities on Friday with a Fashion Fling reception unveiling the "Ava's Closet" exhibit with a tribute to Frank Sinatra by the Carolina Crooner. So dress to the nines, put on your dancing shoes and enjoy the "fling.”

Saturday's activities include free movie screenings of The Killers and The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean, heritage tours and special guest, Project Runway finalist Justin LeBlanc. Justin will speak on his use of 3D printing in design and present garments from his collection. At 7 p.m., the Clayton Piano Festival at The Clayton Center launches their concert series with "Movie Tunes,” featuring Show Boat and flamenco music by classical pianist Azamat Sydakov.

Sunday will continue with extended hours and FREE movie screening of The African Queen. This year's tribute to the movies honors Ava's dear friend, director John Huston.
