The African American Cultural Festival of Raleigh and Wake County, in partnership with the City of Raleigh and Wake County, is proud to present a family-friendly celebration of African American culture as expressed through art, music, food and community. The Festival has become Raleigh’s premier destination for teaching, sharing and celebrating the distinctive folk and cultural traditions of African Americans here in North Carolina and from around the world. The Festival takes place on the Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day weekend along Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina.
