For more than 50 years, Cedar Creek Gallery in Granville County has celebrated American craft that is thoughtfully made, beautifully displayed and deeply connected to place. Elegantly placed among blooming gardens and shade trees, this working studio and gallery features the work of more than 250 local and national artists, from functional pottery and blown glass to jewelry, fiber art and even hand-forged metal.

Founded in 1968 by a pair of potters, Sid and Pat Oakley, the gallery remains family-owned and vision kept true by their daughter Lisa Oakley, a glass artist. The property itself is as much a part of the experience as the artwork. Stroll the grounds and discover unexpected outdoor sculptures peeking out from the greenery, or step inside the on-site studios. If you're lucky, you might see an artist at work.
