Uwharrie Mountains Wine Trail – Piedmont

Four Wineries, Distance Of 42.3 MilesNamed for the ancient mountains that rise to the northeast, The wineries on the Uwharrie Mountains Wine Trail use geography to their full advantage, carrying both varietal wines (similar to the Yadkin Valley wineries to the north), and those made from the Muscadine grapes that are prevalent to the east.
